There are places which are a must to visit – either on one of the many available excursions or by the excellent local bus services, or hire car.

The most prominent attraction is Mount Teide, Spain’s highest Peak and very popular are the Loro Park in the north, and the Aqua park in the south.
Los Cristianos bus station has buses routed to Santa Cruz (45 minutes on the non-stop), Puerto de la Cruz (60 mins), Los Gigantes (50 mins) and to all the neighbouring smaller resorts – Las Galletas, El Medano, all well worth a visit.

The climate is perfect with 360 days a year of sunshine and average temperatures of 75 degrees Fahrenheit, the south of Tenerife is your closest sanctuary to escape the chilly British winters and unreliable summers.
